Sewall’s Point Wedding Photography | Stuart, FL & Beyond | Sampson Photography

It was such a pleasure to capture the wedding day of Joan & Frank on the grounds of their Sewall’s Point home.  Sheltered by ancient oak trees and surrounded on three sides by the St. Lucie River and the Indian River Lagoon, Sewall’s Point is known for its natural beauty located at the eastern edge of Martin County, Florida.  It was a perfect backdrop for the celebration of love taking place!  Enjoy the photos below and be sure to take note of the wonderful vendors who helped to create such a magical day!

Stuart, FL Wedding Photography – Pietro’s on the River | Hutchinson Island

The bride grew up in Stuart but has a delicious Australian accent after residing in Australia for several years.  She met her guy in Australia.  They sail.  They heal.  Yes, they are both nurses.  A true love story.  They decided to come back to Stuart, FL for the celebration of their love.  They chose Pietro’s on the River for their ceremony and reception.  A lovely mix of locals and those from Down Under joined them for their union.  I had the best time photographing this lovely group.  Enjoy the photos and be sure to share if you love them too!

Meet our most recent bride, Lara Fiorelli.  She is the owner of Lara’s Theme in Vero Beach, Florida, which is a floral and event planning firm covering South Florida.  Meet our most recent groom, Richard Andrews.  He is an officiant with Lara’s Theme and together they style and coordinate the most exquisite weddings.  What an honor it was to be asked to cover their very own nuptials!  I knew it would be beyond gorgeous, seeing as how Lara has an eye for beauty.  They are fun, passionate, creative and simply lovely people.  They included two songs by Phillip Phillips in their wedding “Home” and “Gone Gone Gone.”  Fate brought Phillip Phillips to our dinner celebration hours later.  The Epic Hotel’s restaurant Area 31 is such a treat to enjoy dinner and drinks.  The bride’s sister noticed Phillip eating next to us.  I politely approached him and explained that the bride and groom at the next table had just played his music in their wedding.  He was honored.  He eagerly took a photo with them and the rest of our group.  What a delightful guy!  What a thrill, especially for our bride and groom!  Take a peek at the intimate but exquisite wedding below.

Alex & Gabriella | Palm Beach, Florida Wedding | The Brazilian Court Hotel | Royal Poinciana Chapel | Bath & Tennis Club

It was such a pleasure to document the exquisite wedding weekend of Alex & Gabriella.  With family and friends flying in from all over the country to witness their union, it was a meaningful and fun event to capture.  We enjoyed the island of Palm Beach and all of its splendor.  You won’t find many images from the private and exclusive Bath & Tennis Club, at the venue’s request.  Luckily, there is plenty of gorgeousness to soak up from the Brazilian Court Hotel and Royal Poinciana Chapel.

Let’s now all collectively gasp at the Kapoc tree on the water.  For years, while living in West Palm Beach, I called this particular tree a Banyan tree, however, it is a Kapoc tree, I learned just this past weekend!  If you Google “Kapoc tree” – our tree right here in Palm Beach often shows up first.  It is known world wide.  I have photographed families under that tree many times, always calling it a Banyan tree.  🙂

Often, my second shooter is Michael Landry, my partner both professionally and personally (insert collective “awww” here).  Michael joined me this weekend and was responsible for some of this eye candy below.

Another wonderful part of this wedding weekend was the opportunity to work with Michael LaFrance of LaFrance Films | http://www.lafrancefilms.com | A true cinematic genius.
